About Us
Beginnings
Breen’s Farm Machinery Ltd. was established by Philip and Teresa Breen in March 1977. In October of that year they started to import and export all types of quality used Tractors, Plant and Machinery. Since then, the business has expanded significantly.
In 1994, their son, Conor joined the company after qualifying as an Agri-Mechanic. This addition to the Breen’s Farm Machinery team added fresh impetus and enthusiasm to the company’s growing reputation for innovation and expertise in the tractor and machinery market in Ireland. Conor heads up the Sales team at Breen’s Farm Machinery. With Conor’s arrival, sales of new & second-hand tractors, machinery and plant have soared, making Breens Farm Machinery one of the biggest players in the Irish market.
Breen’s Farm Machinery stocks one of Ireland’s most comprehensive range of Claas tractors (Formerly Renault) and are regarded as one of their finest Agents with an excellent working relationship with Claas Europe in product appraisal and recommendations being welcomed from the company for product enhancement.
In 2003 Breen’s Farm Machinery were appointed agents for Claas Grass-Care Machinery. This significant development is evidence of the respect and appreciation Claas has for Breens. This new partnership compliments the company’s ambitious and committed approach to providing cohesive and complimentary solutions to the needs of contractors and farmers alike – many of our customers purchase both Claas tractors and Claas farm machinery.
Breen’s Farm Machinery has fostered a loyal and nationwide client base where customers return frequently to upgrade or purchase new machinery. This illustrates the very high level customer satisfaction which is evident at Breen’s Farm Machinery. The Company devotes considerable resources and time to enhancing and improving its customer service. Regular visitors to the group’s bases are always impressed with new and exciting developments and new product ranges being offered.
Breens opened a new depot in Ennis, Co. Clare, in May 2013, to meet the needs of its growing customer base in the western mid-west region and we are delighted with the progress that is being made in working closely with our new customers in this region.
Currently, Breen’s Farm Machinery employs over nineteen staff at its base in Cashel, Co. Tipperary and Ennis, Co. Clare, representing steady and impressive expansion from its early days of 1977.

Our highly trained and qualified mechanics have completed training with Takeuchi to respond to maintenance and break-down calls.
